news and updates
A word from Director & Founder John Davis;
“Following the untimely death of my father, I have decided to step-back from the project for the foreseeable future, and dissolve the company. A hard decision, but ultimately the right one.
I will be returning to my beloved London, seeking new horizons – a pretty exciting prospect. That said, I want to keep curating, so I will be reinventing the social media pages as a freelance curator. Stories still need to be told, great artists are creating amazing work every day – we still need art more than ever. And I still want to be part of that conversation.
I would like to thank all of the artists, collaborators and all our amazing supporters who made all of this possible – the past year has been incredible and I can’t tell you what a joy it has been meeting and working with you all. Thank you.”
WHO WE ARE and what we do
Wildfire is a travelling pop up art gallery which travels across the country, selling art at affordable prices and giving artists a platform to create and exhibit exciting work. We aim to engage with people and communities, to change perceptions around art and art galleries, delivering unique shows through theming our tour this year around the locations we visit.
We want to introduce more people to the joy of having original and unique art work In their home, where it belongs, by selling artworks at prices we can all afford.
